Description

Tsilivi is one of the most famous beaches in Zakynthos. It is located on the east coast of the island, approximately 7 kilometres from Zante town. It is mostly sandy with a few parts with small pebbles. There are sunbeds and sun loungers in front of hotels and a few lively beach bars that offer an entertaining atmosphere. There are also parts of the beach that are quiet, where you can lay your towel and just enjoy the sun.

Tsilivi beach is continuously awarded with the international Blue Flag award which is only given to beaches that meet strict criteria for cleanliness. The waters are shallow so they are safe for small children. There are also many water sports you can try like windsurfing, water skiing, banana, pedaloes, jet skiing, paragliding and much more!

Bouka beach is located 8 kilometres from Zakynthos town, next to Tsilivi beach. It is a small cove with a small fishing harbour and its biggest asset is being uncrowded.

It is sandy, with shallow waters, safe for children and also has a few traditional tavernas and beach bars with sun loungers and umbrellas. This beach is ideal for a relaxing day of sunbathing and swimming. There are also no organized water sports to disturb your quiet.

Description

The beach of Gaidaros (which means donkey in Greek) is located 8 kilometres from Zakynthos town close to Tsilivi beach. The beach was named after the donkeys that used to be in the area. It is sandy and the water is not deep so it is safe for children.

It is not crowded and there are a few umbrellas and sun loungers in front of a small canteen where you can get refreshments and snacks. The trees above the beach offer nice shade.

Description

Belussi beach is located between Tsilivi and Alykanas tourist resort and is very close to both. It is a small quiet beach, with few visitors during mid and low season (May, June, September and October). The water iσ very clean and shallow so it is safe for children to play.

You can almost always find parking space and it is easily accessible. There are a few beach bars and traditional tavernas along the beach which have sun loungers and umbrellas and offer beach service. There is also a volley ball court guests can use.
